Privacy Policy

Last Modified: July 21, 2026

DoMyQuote ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our insurance quoting, agency management, and related services at domyquote.com (the "Service").

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THE COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

1. Information We Collect

(a) Information You Provide to Us

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, use our Service, or communicate with us. This may include:

(b) Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

(c) Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party services that you or your agency connect to the Service, including:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

(a) Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including hosting, email delivery (SendGrid), payment processing (Stripe), address validation (Google Maps), property data enrichment (Rentcast), and insurance quoting (EZLynx). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us.

(b) Insurance Carriers

When you submit a quote request, applicant information is transmitted to insurance carriers through our integrated rating systems for the purpose of generating insurance quotes. This transmission is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Service.

(c) Within Your Agency

Information may be shared among authorized users within your agency or tenant in accordance with the role-based access controls configured by your agency administrator.

(d) Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order, subpoena, or government agency request).

(e) Business Transfers

If DoMyQuote is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.

(f) With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and improve the Service. The types of cookies we use include:

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service.

5. Data Security

We implement and maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your information. These measures include:

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. After account termination, we retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for account recovery, after which it is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by applicable law. Specifically:

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@domyquote.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@domyquote.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).

8. CCPA Privacy Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

To make a CCPA request, email us at privacy@domyquote.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request.

9. GDPR Privacy Rights (European Residents)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

For GDPR-related requests, contact us at privacy@domyquote.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18, and we do not permit anyone under 18 to create or hold an account. However, insurance quoting and policy management may lawfully involve personal information about minors — for example, a youthful driver listed on a parent's or guardian's auto policy, or a minor household member on a homeowners application. Such information may be submitted to the Service by licensed agents or by adult applicants, provided all consents required by applicable law (including parent or guardian consent, where required) have been obtained. If we become aware that a person under 18 has created an account, or that a minor's personal information was submitted outside of a legitimate insurance transaction without the required consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you have concerns, please contact us at privacy@domyquote.com.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Service. Key third-party services we integrate with include:

12. Browser Extension (SUPY)

We offer an optional browser extension ("SUPY") that helps insurance agents copy quote and applicant data into carrier portals more quickly while they work. Installing and using SUPY is voluntary and is intended for use with a DoMyQuote account.

(a) Information the Extension Handles

When you actively invoke SUPY, it accesses quote and applicant information (such as names, addresses, dates of birth, and insurance details) in order to place that information into the carrier portal page you are working in. This data originates from your DoMyQuote account or from the page you choose to capture.

(b) How the Extension Uses Information

(c) Permissions

Because agents work across many different carrier portals whose web addresses vary, the extension requests broad host access so it can assist on the portal you are using. It reads or fills page fields only when you actively use it. You can remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions settings, which stops all extension data processing.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Modified" date at the top. For material changes, we may also send you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
